San Jose, CA – January 18, 2011– S2C Inc., a leading rapid SoC prototyping solutions provider, announced today that it has opened a direct office in HsinChu, Taiwan. The office is located near the HsinChu Science Park and will provide direct sales, superior technical support and local hardware maintenance to S2C customers in Taiwan.
Archer Yang has been named the general manager of S2C Taiwan. Mon-Ren Chene, Chairman and CTO of S2C, said: “Taiwan has been a major market for S2C since 2005. About Archer Yang Archer has over 16 years of FPGA design, technical support, and senior management experience. Prior to S2C, Archer worked at Galaxy Far East Corp., a publically-listed electronics components distributor in Taiwan. At Galaxy Far East Crop, Archer spent 12 years as an FAE/FAE manager for several product lines including Altera and Aptix before spending 4 years as the director for developing and marketing Altera-based FPGA emulation boards. Archer later took on senior-level management positions including being the spokesmen for Galaxy Far East Corp. after the company went public. Archer graduated from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1993 with a degree in Electronic Engineering.
